Statutory and regulatory requirements in ISO 14001 and OHSAS

YES, statutory and regulatory requirements in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requires organization to meet statutory and regulatory requirements for the region or area where company is situated.


This is limited to area for which certification is required.


For example, the company may have number of factories and offices in various parts of the world but currently it is seeking certificate for only one factory / office than auditors will ensure that statutory and regulaltory requirements of that factory / office area [region] are complied with.


The statutory and regulatory requirements specific to that country, state and city or industrial zone all needs to be complied with.
