ISO 9001 Clause 6: Resource management
The Resource Management section of the standard ensures that you review and provide the resources needed to implement and improve the system. Resources are looked at in three ways: people, infrastructure and work environment.
Clause 6 of ISO 9001 consists of:
6.1 Provision of resources
6.2 Human resources
6.3 Infrastructure
6.4 Work environment
Note:
Clause 6 deals with the management of resources, unlike previous standards, 2000 and 2008 editions demand competence of personnel instead of just providing them training (clause 4.18 of 1994 edition).
The clause 6 of year 2000 edition is a combination of clause 4.1.2.2 resources and clause 4.18 training of 1994 edition.
