I have few questions on ISO 27000.


What is ISO 27001 certification?

Will the certification auditors check our information security controls? 

And 
Can you provide a copy of the ISO 27001 standard?

A.: It is Information Security Management System Standard aimed at ensuring safety of important client information at suplier end. It treats information as an asset and ensures its Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA).

 

Q.: Will the certification auditors check our information security controls? 

A.: Yes

 

Q.: Can you provide a copy of the ISO 27001 standard?

A.: No. You need to purchase it either from ISO or your local / national standard body.
